After a leisurely breakfast and packing up, we met the Riddles in the lobby to hail a taxi to the pier. Our original plan was to drop off our luggage and then walk around Old San Juan for the afternoon. Unfortunately, the weather had a different idea. It was raining cats and dogs. So Plan B was staying on board and getting to know the ship a little bit.  We could get into our cabins around 2pm but our luggage took a little longer. We had lunch at Ocean Cafe and just explored for a while before going back to our cabins and chilling a bit.

About 6:30 we reconvened with the Riddles and shared a bottle of champagne before our mandatory muster drill at 7:45. Then we headed to dinner at our specialty restaurant, Blu. We were in for a treat! It was a delightfully, relaxed, delicious meal shared with good friends. Regina had the dinner we’ll lobby for – wasabi accented ahi tuna it was really good.  Gabriel wants us to ask for his section again tomorrow tonight. 🙂 Ganna, Seol and Gabriel tag teamed us tonight and what fun we all had with that!

There was an introductory show in the Celebrity Theater at 10:30 that we wanted to see and since it was almost 10:00 we just started walking to the other end of the ship to get there early.  It was good – just a sample of what’s to come for the week. The Riddles talked us into going up to the party deck for a little while and it was after midnight before we got back to our cabin. Long day. But oh so much fun!
