I woke up to breakfast being delivered to our room. Pampering. It’s been a wonderfully leisurely morning and I’m just enjoying this peace before our activities start. We have an 11:00 meeting with the trainers at the gym. They’re going to tell us how to get into shape and lose where we want to lose. Could be interesting.
… I’ll be back …
I’m back. It was interesting. Actually it all makes perfect sense and explains why I haven’t been able to make any changes in my body no matter what I’ve tried all these years. Detox. It’s not cheap. Still wrapping my head around that. Regina bought the first month just to make sure her body can handle it. I would like to. Will see.
We found the guys and went on deck pool side to enjoy the sun, breeze and an adult beverage. A live band was playing and we found a good spot to watch the dancers. It was very relaxing and was so nice to share it with friends. A Zumba class was next and Rick and I ran down to join in on the last song. We should’ve gone sooner. Great way to burn some calories. It was close to 5:00 and time to go back to the cabin, chill out a little (after our hard day) and change for dinner.
Back at Blu around 6:30. We asked for Gabriel’s table and were seated at the same table as last night. We asked the table number so we can request that table the rest of the week. #837. On the menu tonight we started with some kind of macadamia crusted scallops and a pear salad. We all had a wonderful pacific salmon (except Rick – he had Atlantic salmon) for our entree. It was cooked to perfection. Apple pie a la mode was Gana’s recommendation for dessert. Perfect. Then she also brought us a strawberry soup. Sounds weird doesn’t it? I know. It was good though. Fresh strawberries with a light mousse and a sauce.
From there we went to the celebrity theater for the show. It was supposed to be I Hollywood but one of the main actors was down with the flu so they switched to other show- Stars in Their Eyes. It was good even though some of it was pretty hokey. We got to meet the captain and the crew and share a toast. That was pretty cool. By the end of the show I was so done. Ready to come back to the cabin and ignore everything else.
Have washed my face and rushed my teeth, taken drugs and ready for bed. So night night.
