We slept in this morning. It was glorious!!! Made it to the main dining room around 8:30 and it was a good thing. By the time we left around 9:30 the line to get in was really long. We both started with a bowl of seasonal fruit (which was good) and I got an omelet. I think mine was better than Bob’s scrambled eggs. The breakfast bar looked pretty good too. We walked through the Promenade deck and picked up a couple of t-shirts for me and then searched for a quiet spot to plant. Ended up finding a spot by the pool but it’s not so quiet. Really looking forward to just vegging today.
Got caught up on my journaling and a little reading done before lunch. We wanted to walk around the buffet just to see what they had for lunch and ran into DE and Sarah on the way out. Poor guy’s head is toast. We made plans to meet up after lunch in the martini lounge to play the LOLz game. I played that at Brooke’s when I flew out for Cheyenne’s graduation. OMG so much fun!! Bob and I went to the main dining room for lunch just because we could – they’re only open for lunch on sea days. Bob had a salad with corn, beans, avocado and salsa he said was really good. I ended up with a lighter meal of sweet potato soup and Caesar salad which was also good.
The game. I’m sure we annoyed some people. Not that we care. This is a game where you put a dental lip retractor in your mouth and then try to say a phrase (usually with p’s, f’s, b’s, m’s and so on – all the letters you can’t say when your lips can’t meet) and your partner has to guess what the phrase is. Maybe it sounds lame, but it is so stinkin’ funny. We enjoyed that for about an hour and then ended up playing putt putt up on the 14th deck. Thanks to me choking, we came in last. Oh well, I think there’s a rematch in our future. I need to practice before then.

By then it was time to come back to the cabin and chill out a few minutes before getting ready for our 6:15 dinner reservation. Back at Antionio’s table he greeted us once again by name. Still impressed with that. Everyone enjoyed their dinner tonight. There was cod, crab cakes, chicken cordon blue, some kind of pasta and I can’t remember what else. All of it was good. But then there was dessert. Mmmmm. Mine was the best. It was called Chocolate Jaffa Cake. Cherries Jubiliee was also on the menu and several at our table got that – it was good but not as good as mine. Haha. It appears we have another Gabriel (server in Blue from the Celebrity Summit). Antonio informed us he’s also a magician and had to show us a card trick before we left. He is so cute. And the card trick was impressive. Can’t wait to see what he does tomorrow night.
DE’s head and face is getting redder by the minute. Poor guy. We saw virtually no sun yesterday and it even rained! Our tour was only 3 hours. He’s toast. Not good.
That’s about it for today. Back in the cabin regrouping for tomorrow’s excursion in Bonaire.
