Since I don’t really need to say but so many times that we vegged out, read, napped, drank, ate, etc. I’ll just say it once for the next two days. They were sea days. We crashed. Especially the first day. I guess Bob and I needed to do nothing. We even grabbed burgers from the grill for dinner so we didn’t have to dress up that night. And we didn’t go to the show either. The second night we didn’t care for the menu at Blu so grubbed out and ate dinner at the buffet. This is the sunset from our balcony the first day …

This is the sunset from our balcony our last night …

A few days ago there was a paragraph in the daily schedule that requested guests with flights earlier than 11:30 to notify Guest Relations for other arrangements. The lady we talked to was not very helpful (she was one of the few on the ship that was really a Debbie Downer). She basically told us there was no way we were going to make our 10:15 flight and they would give us a free phone call to our airlines to make other arrangements. We were scheduled to dock at 7am and the first group off the ship would be at 7:30. We figured we’d make it ok. But she indicated that was best case scenario and between all of the other guests having early flights, going through customs and getting a tax to the airport on time, well … it just wasn’t going to happen. We decided to take our changes. (Keep in mind the guy DE and Sarah talked to when they went to Guest Relations said nothing to them about missing their flight. Just told them where to be and when. Weird.) With all this in mind, Bob and I started packing Thursday afternoon just so we didn’t have much to do after dinner and the show. We didn’t have to put our bags out by 10 for the crew to deal with because we had to take them off the ship ourselves since our flight was so early. (Note to self – easier to have a later flight.)

The show was a comedian who was pretty good. Not the best but we laughed out loud enough for it to be worth our while. He mainly fed off of the audience so every show is different. All in all we were really impressed with the shows this time. I hope Celebrity as a whole has stepped up their game and it isn’t just this class of ship that has better entertainment. We’ll find out in November since we’ll be back on the Summit.

Back in our cabin we did our last minute packing and climbed into bed for the last time this cruise. Even though this one was 11 nights I still wasn’t itching to go home. I would’ve been perfectly happy to be going to another island exploring tomorrow. I’m not sure how many days it would take me to feel that way. Maybe one day we’ll find out. Another great cruise bites the dust. We loved the ship. I’ll be counting the days until the next sailing. For now the excitement is over.

(Or so we thought …)
