It truly was a totally relaxing day. We claimed our spot by the pool by about 8:30 and just vegged out most of the day. A little reading, a little napping, some eating and sipping, more reading and more napping, etc. Eventually it was time to go back to the cabin and get ready for our second dinner in Qsine. And again it was divine. It was a nice leisurely dinner (about 2-1/2 hours) with lots of tastings (everything different from the night before). We had Desak take excellent care of us again and we look forward to seeing her again in January!!
Since we weren’t itching to go to the show after dinner (singers and dancers again) we left the packing to the last minute. Totally unlike us but it worked this time. Took about an hour and we were ready to roll first thing in the morning.
Disembarking
Celebrity offered us a VIP disembarking and taxi to the airport for $25 per person. Since a taxi would cost us $25 we figured it was worth trying. We had to meet a few minutes before 7am and by 7:15 we were walking off with our luggage, through customs an at the airport before 8am. Since our flight wasn’t until 11:30 we had some time to kill – it went fast though. The flights and layover in Orlando were uneventful an we were on the ground in Norfolk by about 6:15pm.
As wonderful as it is to go on vacation, it’s nice to be home too. π Until next time! (January 2019!!)
