Not much was offered through the ship for this port and even with research we couldn’t find anything more outside of the ship, so we elected to treat our last day as a sea day and hung out and chilled.

We enjoyed our last dinner with Steve and Christina (exchanging contact info so we can keep in touch!), then dragged our heels back to the cabin to pack up. By this time we have accepted the fun is over and it’s back to reality soon. The worst part is the going back to the cold – however we really can’t complain too much because most of the country is enduring far more frigid temps than we are. A very cold system from the North Pole has been making its way south through the country with some of the coldest temperatures seen in years.

Recap and highlights:

A cruise in the Caribbean is always wonderful and this one was no exception. We did some new island tours (even though we had been to those islands before we had done different things on them) – Curaçao, Aruba, St. Kitts and St. Thomas. The two we enjoyed the most and got the most from were Aruba and St. Thomas. All of them gave us more information to use for our next visits. The wind and ocean currents were not the norm for the Caribbean, but it was still nice to sit on the beaches and soak up the vitamin D.

We met some amazing people (both on and off the ship) and had some awesome conversations, saw some great shows, read some good books and ate some incredible food.

Until next time (December 2019 to be exact LOL) …
