Today was a veg out day. We hung out, read, napped, etc. Oh! We did start our day by going to the gym! I know, shock shock. That was supposed to help us feel better about vegging out the rest of the day I guess. We had lunch in the main dining room and it was very good – much better than the buffet (so disappointed in the buffet this time). This afternoon we ran into Volcan (we went looking for him LOL) and he got us into Qsine for $30. Why we do this to ourselves I do not know. We are miserable. But the food is oh so good. That was most likely the last time we’ll eat in there since the ship is going in for a major overhaul next month and from what we understand Qsine will not be a part of the renovation. Sad for Qsine but excited to see what will be next. We will be back on the Summit February 2020.
Domenick Allen was the show tonight. He has performed with Liberace and Foreigner and did a review of the years combining different types of music over the years while showing off his musical talents (plays the clarinet, electric guitar and saxophone). He was high energy and certainly talented. Rich has done a better job on the entertainment on this cruise than the others we’ve been on. The others have had some good shows but every one we’ve seen on this cruise has been really good.
Tomorrow is a beach on St. Croix. Hoping for good weather. The past couple of days have been very windy and waters pretty choppy. Of course we don’t mind the rocking – it’s one of the things we love about being on the ship.
