White eating our breakfast downstairs (in the hotel) this morning I noticed a little girl and mom at another table. It was the same little girl and mom we saw last night at the show on stage talking to a stage hand (probably the daddy). Bob asked me why I thought it was the same little girl. Um, because I saw her …? And I saw her mom (who was pregnant) …? He didn’t believe me. In fact, said to me, “I’m gonna need you to confirm that.” Yes. Yes he really did. So as we were leaving I went by their table and said, “Weren’t you at Kenny last night?” Imagine the surprise when she said yes!!! Her husband is Kenny’s audio guy and has been for the last 12 years. They live in North Myrtle Beach so she came to see the show since it was close by. (With a little one and another on the way, traveling isn’t the easiest at the moment.) We talked for a few minutes and she told us about the stage snafu. The venue is so small the stage wouldn’t fit. Kenny actually told the venue people that if they didn’t bring saws in and take down the railings he was pulling out. They brought saws in. We noticed the stage completely filled the area last night but would never have known that story otherwise. Pretty cool little trivia. It took us a couple of trips to load up the car and we saw her leaving about the same time. On our way back to the elevator for load 2 she ran up to me and handed me a guitar pic from last night’s show as a gift. How stinkin’ sweet!! I LOVE it!!

We 11:30 reservations at Sam Sneads for lunch with John and Cindy. All of us are so excited to get to explore this city together and just spend some time visiting. It’s been way too long since we’ve seen each other. After lunch the guys took off with their clubs to play a round of golf and Cindy and I headed out to explore a little bit and check in to our VRBO. We drove around and kind of got the lay of the land and checked in around 3pm. Unpacked the car and had a little time before Bob and John got back for dinner.

There were several places we had picked out to try and we ended up the the Public Kitchen and Bar. Food was very good – for all of us. After some laughs and more visiting we called it a night and hit the sack. It had been a long day.

Next day
